Dr. Ana Šarić is one of NEWFELPRO researchers from the outgoing scheme who has successfully completed the implementation of her project titled Development of new fluorescent cyanine probe to assess mitochondrial function (FluMito) at the University Rene Descartes in Paris, at the Laboratory for Toxicology, pharmacology and cell signalling and at the Ruder Boskovic Institute in Zagreb.

Professor Nils Paar is one of NEWFELPRO 's researchers from the outgoing scheme who has successfully completed the implementation of his project titled Relativistic Nuclear Energy Density Functional for Astrophysical Applications (AstroEDF) at the University of Basel and at the Faculty of Science of the
University of Zagreb.

Successful stories: Jincheng Fan and ZnO band gap

Jincheng Fan, one of the first NEWFELPRO senior fellows in the incoming scheme, is currently in the final stages of implementing his two year long project titled Effective modulation of ZnO band gap and the modulation mechanism study (ZnO band gap study) at the Ruđer Bošković Institute under the guidance of Associate Professor Igor Đerđ.
