Darko Mitrović, from the University of Montenegro, is one of the senior researchers in the incoming scheme who successfully implemented his project "Micro-local defect functionals and applications (MiLDeFA)“  at the Faculty of Sciences at the University of Zagreb .
 

Successful stories: Ivan Kokanović and the high temperature superconductors

Dr. Ivan Kokanović, NEWFELPRO’s fellow in the outgoing scheme, has successfully concluded his project in „Specific Heat Capacity and Anisotropic Magnetic Properties of High Temperature Superconductors: YBa2Cu3O6+x and Tl2Ba2CuO6+x single crystals (CapMagHTS)“. 

He implemented his project at the University of Cambridge and Faculty of Sciences in Zagreb.

Successful stories: Marinko Jablan and graphene

Dr. Marinko Jablan, NEWFELPRO’s fellow in the outgoing scheme, has successfully concluded his project “Graphene based nonlinear quantum optics (GRANQO)“. 

He spent twelve months at the Institute of Photonic Sciences in Barcelona under the mentorship of Prof. Darrick Chang (outgoing phase) and four months at the Faculty of Sciences in Zagreb (return phase) implementing his project

Dr. Maja Miše, has been announced as Marie Curie Sklodowska COFUND "fellow of the week"!

Maja is currently at the University of Fribourg where she is implementing her project „Connecting Adriatic with Mediterranean: Tracing Ancient Ceramic Workshops and Networks in the last centuries BC (CAMTAWN)“.

Ivana Cerovečki and the circulation of oceans

Ivana Cerovečki, one of NEWFELPRO's researchers in the reintegration scheme, is implementing her two year long project titled „The upper branch of the Southern Ocean Meridional Overturning Circulation (SOMOC)“ at the Ruđer Bošković Institute.
