NEWFELPRO workshop held at J. J. Strossmayer University of Osijek

A workshop of the new international fellowship mobility program for experienced researchers NEWFELPRO took place at the J. J. Strossmayer University of Osijek on 5 June 2013.  The presentation and discussion about the NEWFELPRO project, application procedures, project documentation and evaluation criteria was led by Aleksandra Čolić Kovač and Damir Šoh from MSES. Dr Robert Vianello from the Ruđer Bošković Institute in Zagreb, multiple Marie Curie fellow, presented his personal experiences related to the Marie Curie application process and his research conducted abroad. Ana Grdović from Agency for Mobility and EU Programmes presented the individual fellowship schemes within the scope of the FP7 PEOPLE programme, Marie Curie Actions.

Twenty-nine participants attended the workshop. Participants were mostly from the J. J. Strossmayer University of Osijek (Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, School of Medicine, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Food Technology Osijek, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Department of Education, Department of Biology, Department of Mathematics). One participant was from the University of Canterburry.

Participants were informed about the project documentation and application procedure. Participants most frequently inquired about eligibility criteria, structure of application forms, process of submitting and acceptance of project documentation, evaluation criteria and financial sources as part of the fellowship.
